Honorary Service Award 2018-2019

Is there a teacher, administrator, parent, volunteer or coach that you think deserves an award for their commitment to our PTA community? If so, please take the time to nominate them for the CDM PTA Honorary Service Award. This award is given every year to an individual or organization for outstanding service to children and youth in our community, going above and beyond what is asked of them.

CDM Presents Challenge Success Learning Project
(AKA Parent Book Club)
Our first book is The Price of Privilege by Madeline Levine. We'll read the book together and meet monthly to share our insights, strategies, and challenges together....together, we'll create our own movement!
Levine offers thoughtful, practical advice as she explodes one child-rearing myth after another. With empathy and candor, she identifies parenting practices that are toxic to healthy self-development and that have contributed to epidemic levels of depression, anxiety, and substance abuse in the most unlikely place -- the affluent family.
