Please JOIN US TUESDAY, MARCH 19 and find out how to SAVE OUR STUDENTS as we see a compelling presentation of "OVERTAKEN" by Jodi Barber and special guests and their "PRESCRIPTION for PARENTING." Learn how to deal with the drug epidemic and save a student, a friend, or a family member. The meeting will be held from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the LRC. The PTA invites parents and all students grades 7-12 to join us. Refreshments will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Honorary Service Award 2018-2019

Is there a teacher, administrator, parent, volunteer or coach that you think deserves an award for their commitment to our PTA community? If so, please take the time to nominate them for the CDM PTA Honorary Service Award. This award is given every year to an individual or organization for outstanding service to children and youth in our community, going above and beyond what is asked of them.

Challenge Success Speaker

Please join us on Monday, January 28th when Mary Hofstedt, the Community Education Director for Challenge Success, will speak to CdM parents on the "Well-Balanced Student" incorporating the data and results from our recent CdM High School Student Survey into her presentation. This will provide valuable insight on what your student and his/her peers are feeling.

CONGRATULATIONS TO NINA FOR HER MUSIC COMPOSITION ENTITLED "RISE: HEROES TOGETHER" AND TO BRONWYN FOR HER PHOTOGRAPH NAMED "RAW", WINNING 1ST PLACE AT THE HARBOR COUNCIL LEVEL AND MOVING ON IN THE NATIONAL COMPETITION.
Their work will be on display at the 4th District reception being held Saturday, January 26th, 2019 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at Orange County Department of Education, Bldg D, (at the rear of the property) 200 Kalmus Dr, Costa Mesa.
**The art entries that were not taken at the Harbor Council Reflections reception that are not advancing to 4th District PTA will be available for pick-up at the HCPTA Holiday Luncheon on December 3rd.
